My name is Helene, and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Literature and Linguistics at the Sorbonne. I have extensive experience tutoring students in preparation for the EAF, focusing on text commentary, essay structure, and oral presentation. I am passionate about French literature in all its forms and love showing how language and style reveal deeper meaning. I help students develop both analytical precision and expressive confidence to succeed in Première and beyond.

As a French native and former lycée teacher, I hold a postgraduate qualification in French Education and bring over twelve years of classroom experience. My love for literature and language has shaped my teaching philosophy, which is grounded in patience, clarity, and personal growth. I have guided countless students through the EAF with a focus on written argumentation, textual insight, and oral expression. I also encourage students to discover the joy of reading and how words can shape thought and emotion.

I am currently studying Modern Languages at the Université de Genève, where I have developed a strong appreciation for both French literature and comparative linguistics. My tutoring experience includes helping students in France and abroad prepare for the French Baccalauréat, particularly the EAF exams. Fluent in French, English, and Spanish, I bring a multicultural perspective to language learning. I focus on helping students interpret literary texts with depth and express themselves with clarity and confidence.

I specialise in tutoring students for the EAF, particularly in essay writing, text commentary, and oral analysis. Over the past five years, I have helped students move from uncertainty to mastery through a structured yet creative approach. My background in literature and philosophy allows me to draw connections between texts, ideas, and authors, enriching each lesson with context. I aim to show that French is not only a school subject but also a way to think critically and communicate beautifully.

I am a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, where I completed a BA with Honours in Comparative Literature. I am deeply passionate about guiding students through the EAF preparation process, particularly in crafting essays that balance structure and originality. My lessons emphasise thoughtful reading, precise writing, and confident speaking. I also enjoy helping students articulate their ideas clearly — skills that extend far beyond the exam and serve them well throughout their studies and future careers.
